I hate the waters of Ocean City, MD and Virginia Beach, VA!! I really want to go to a beach with clear blue water. I know i can't get SUPER CLEAR here.... but whats the next best thing here in the Atlantic East coast?? i wont be driving down to florida either.. or allll the way up to maine so im thinking.. NC, SC, NY, NJ, VA, MD... k thanx!

Ocean City is a little over run, go south. The waters on the East don't really get clear until you get to florida. Some of the most beautiful beaches in america are on florida's pan handle gulf coast. Worth the drive...spend a fewdays.

I absolutely love Lighthouse Beach on Long Island (NY), a legal nude beach on the Atlantic Ocean at the western tip of Fire Island. It's clean, well patrolled by officers right on the beach, and filled with friendly people of all ages and both sexes. If you've never been to a nude beach, this is the one to try for your first time. You'll feel right at home and will forget that you're naked in just a few minutes. Parking is plentiful, and ther's a concession stand adjacent to the parking lot.

Gulf coast are a lot a lot nicer. they are often white sand and dont have as many waves because the Atlantic part yet they nevertheless have waves. great seashores that are an user-friendly force from Orlando might want to be Clearwater to St. Petersburg (St. Petes sea coast) via Tampa and south of Tampa the renowned Siesta Key via Sarasota which has the whitest sand interior the international (shown). Please be realistic in realizing that the colder the water, the more green it appears - that doesn't mean it's not clean. "Clear blue" ocean waters are only in tropical climates.

Hmm.. Atlantic Ocean water is DEFINITELY not clear or blue. Nothing even close to it. Maybe somewhere in South Carolina. As close to Florida as you can get.
