I mean, some people who show respect to others all the time, give to others, and show good manners dont get the respect that they deserve. why is this?

They did the same thing to Jesus, the greatest man who ever walked the earth and one of his greatest teachings was to love your neighbor as yourself. So those people who think that way are very wrong.

It's the meek shall inherit the earth, not the weak!!! But to answer your question, it's lack of self love. If they don't respect themselves how can they appreciate someone else showing them respect. Some women whould rather you just pimp slap them and call them a B^TCH!!!

I think that these people you are talking about do get the respect although many times it is silent or unspoken. Only in times of turmoil or devastation do these feelings and emotions surface. Many people experience difficulty in giving praise or compliments. Unfortunately, it has become way to commonplace for people to express negative connotations too easily. Strange culture we live in today, isn't it? Great question.
