You need to start the divorce proceedings first. Believe me, I know from experience and I hope that your husband will not be able to bring proof of this guy you were talking about to court otherwise you could lose everything. Do you have any proof that you can bring to court about his cheating? Another thing is to learn as much as you can about the laws in your state about divorce and child custody. My ex husband cheated on me with my sister and another person. (not at the same time) I did not find out until after the divorce. He got everything in the divorce except the youngest child but that was because she was a baby and he could not raise her but he got the other two older children. All because I had an idiot lawyer and didn't know anything myself. You and the kids will be better off in the long run. I know it don't seem like it now but you will see. Good Luck to you..

first of all don't stay together for the kids. that is the wrong way about it. you and your husband need to get on the same page. both of you guys must be honest or the 12 yrs are a waste. the answer must be in both hearts. HONESTY is the first start. then you and him must answer the question do we love one another.

If I saw my wife of 12 years laying beside another man divorce would be the least of her (or his) worries. Good grief, you should LEAN on your husband and CONFIDE in your husband.

He is not going to believe you no matter what you say. Maybe if you were honest in the first place this wouldn't be happening. The time has come for you to move on. Good luck and the best to you and your family.

Before he can get over the affair, he needs to get all the truth.
Give him all the dates & times...the conversations, attractions & cricumstances.
Back everything up with facts...phone bills, emails, texts. Get the guy & his wife to back you up.
If he feels you've come totally clean, he will be able to put it behind you.
