If someone continuously lies to you how are you suppose to trust them? Lets just say when you ask your boyfriend if he has been talking to another girl and he denies it and you believe him. Then a few days later you catch him. If this happens more than one time with the same person how do you trust them again? Or another example, say you have this person who is your "best friend". You find out they are stealing from you, lying to you, talking behind your back, and maybe even hitting on your boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse. How do you trust them to be your best friend when they do all that stuff to you and it doesn't even bother them? This is just a little bit of my own thought on the subject.

Do you need ideas on a title or on how to continue with your current title? Okay, since I'm a visual linguist, I'll do both. "How did you lost trust in someone" I first tasted betrayal in March 2005 (made up of course). After an evening of warm embraces, we enjoyed a passionate departure. It was with the rise of the morning sun that I realized the betrayal. Blah, blah, blah. Or if you need a different title to write on there's:" Love at first sight. Truth or fantasy"

Trust was lost when the other person could not live up to the words of a promise , but the lost trust was also an opportunity to grow in knowledge of our expectations being mostly an illusion.

I lost trust in a boss once because he had told a client of his that I had been trying to sabotage a project. The truth was that he was blaming me for mistakes that HE had made that I had warned him about several times. They saw through his lie. He was fired by the client and I was given his job. I never worked for him again.

It comes from betrayal, deceit and lying.
Betrayal: The person does you harm by betraying your trust, i.e. cheating in marriage, stealing money, etc.
Deceit & Lying: The person then tries to hide what they have done.
It can be as simple as a person misrepresenting theirself and you find they are someone totally different than who they say they are.

I met my friend Victoria when I was in 8th grade. We were best friends all throughout that year. Then after we went to High School, she started avoiding me, and I found out she was hanging out with these other girls, I never trusted her again.

you lost trust in someone when they tell lies on you. you lose trust in someone when they are jealous and make up stories about you. you lose trust in someone when they tell you they will be there for you to go out or something and they don't show up.

They lie, they stab your back, they break promises, they're never there when you need them, they tell the secrets you made them swear they'd never tell, they try and steal your friends, they try and steal your life. I've had much experience in this field.
