It can't be a true menstrual cycle if you are really pregnant. The discharge is made up of blood and the interior lining of the uterus. The lining is necessary to hold the fertilized egg, so if you are holding a fertilized egg (i.e. you are pregnant), you can't simultaneously discharge the uterine lining.
I'm no doctor but you should check with one to ascertain what I have just stated.

My mother had regular menstrual cycles for the first trimester with me. Then I was born prematurely. I'd ask my ob-gyn for advice if I were you.

Yes, it is possible, it happened to me, I did not know I was pregnant untill I was 9 weeks pregnant, now I got a handsome 19 year old son. He was not an accident, he was a miracle of life.
My period sycles stopped like arount the 4th. month of pregnancy.

Yes.My daughter did,had a period the whole time.She was on the pill,so when she took a preg.test it showed negative.Nine months later she had a beautiful baby girl.
