There was an absolutely amazing thing happen in England one month ago...

A tree got hit by lightning whilst 35 cows were sheltering underneath it...they all got very fried indeed...there was a photo taken, it was unbelievable!

No, but I would say since the water pipes are in the ground they would not be exposed to or conduct an electric charge.

I see the second answerer didn't get the 'lightning' part.

yeah it happened at camp last year in the boys dorm. they were so mad because evertime they tried to take a shower it would electrocute them.
