Because Liverpool are morons, even though they're my favourites. They didn't even deserve their goal in my eyes. Or it was 50/50. Sheffield schooled them. Arsenal thought they were at an away game because they're in a new stadium.
Man. U and Chelsea won because they were both at home, I think anyway, and they're great at home.

Arsenal lost a lot of players this season and last season and won't become any kind of force for a few years because they are basing their new team around the younger players. They will be mostly mediocre this season.
Liverpool is a team that would rather sit back and go for a draw than push forward for a win.
I'm surprised Chelsea won by such a large margin as they've not been playing well in pre-season and they are more apt to sit back after going 1-0 up. Man City must have been messing up for Chelsea to take the chance and capitalize.
Man United basically have nothing to lose. They are working better as a team and got rid of some dead weight. They are more likely to push forward and play the free flowing high scoring football they are used to.

While Arsenal played at home against a strong & newly managed Aston Villa, Arsenal should have won. Liverpool played away against new comers Sheffield Utd They were tired after their Community Shield Cup victory & with lots of players still unfit including Gerrard.
Chelsea & Man Utd played at home with relatively easier opponents Man City & Fulham both of them will struggle to stay out of relegation zone

It's a long season, and on any given day, any team can win. (Or draw, in this case.) That's what makes football great.

they r juz not in the form yet. they should have won but they didnt, anything can happen in foatball. MU n chelsea should win n they did.
