Pull up, and spot! watch your arms and that you aren't throwing them around, because it will throw you off balance. Keep your arms solid and your back strong. Make sure that you push against the floor instead of hopping up on to releve.

Well the reason why many people can do multiple turns is because a) they mentally stop themselves and b) have problems with there technique.
When you pirouette, don't hesitate. Concentrate on the following: getting that leg into posse faster. Bringing the opposite side around, because if you leave it there it'll bring you off balance. Also many people compensate for that feeling of falling by pitching their shoulders backwards. You want to keep your back straight and maybe bring your shoulders a little foward. Spotting helps too.
Start from a strong foundation with two feet planted firmly on the ground. A good plie is necessary for getting up on the leg with a lot of momentum. Again, use the opposite side you're not leading with to give you the momentum you need.

Try to balance your weight forward over your toes, to stop you falling backwards. Remember to spot!!!!!
When you push of go really really high on the ball of your foot, so that you get the momentum to get around. Look up and not at your feet in the turn, for doubles and so on try closing your eyes on the turn, and opening them when you feel like you are at the front, it's supposed to help you spot better, but personally it didn't help me much. I can't be bothered writing what every one else said, but pay attention to those ones too, cause they have lots of good stuff!

First of all, are you using your core muscles to pull up out of your hips? Once you have proper form and alignment you are on your way to doubles and triples with no problem. Most dancers who have problems with turns do not pull up and hold their body properly. You need to strengthen the core through Pilate's, sit-ups, etc. Once you have the core strength to hold yourself up and go to that "magic" spot EVERY single time your turns will just flow.

Make sure your standing knee is completely stretched, especially if you are hyper-extended.
Make sure your body weight is forward. Most dancers fall back when they are learning to turn. DO NOT turn until you are able to balance in passé.
