Well as an English person even I get irritated by them ...the reason is because NO ONE in the UK speaks like that,,, they put on an old fashioned british accent.. like a stereotyped accent, what they think you think English people sound like. Nanny 911 or what ever it is called is so cringe worthy it is awful...

No. Brithish people can't help what their accents sound like, much like anyone and everyone from every other country, including the USA.
The only accent that really bothers me is an ebonic accent. There are plenty of people who grow up in areas where others speak like that and they don't. Therefore, the ebonic accent seems and probably IS optional.
I DO on the other hand, think it IS kind of cheesey that most reality shows seem to have a formula for their casts and judges.

confident, yet its also the accent, I lived in a scottish village for 5 years quite many years in the previous and that i'm english, on an same time as i became first there an elderly gentlemen who lived on the right of the lane would want to greet me and search for suggestion from with me properly-known, i might want to no longer comprehend a unmarried component he suggested ! yet did not bypass with to seem stupid through protecting on asking him to repeat, so i'd want to grin and nod and say confident! LOL

I personally like the English accents. People can't help their accents. I can't help my English accent. It's not like they personally make English accents. If America was still ruled by a king, we'd all have English accents.

All of these new shows are copy cats. They see American Idol
being successful so they get a British person , but they are not

I'm English, and I like English men, for their accents! obviously they have to reasonably good looking, with more than a handful of brain cells, but they are charming! Well some of them anyway!
