Depends on what it is swollen from....if just the morning swelling, cucumber slices work well, but work even better if on top of the slices you put an ice pack.

let ice set on it for a while. That usually helps when something get swollen on me!

Well, definately ice for a little bit and then later on take cold tea bags that have been soaked for a while. If that doesn't work, there's always the big t-bone steak...mmmmm

Used tea bags or skin of watermelon. My dad uses the skin of the watermelon. Just cut the skin of the watermelon into small cubes and put in to the fridge. Apply them just before going to bed. I'm not sure whether it helps for you. It definitely helps on my dad.
