I have a 12 year previous daughter that has executed this and some different issues she would not understand she's doing (hand flapping) for years. when I ask her why she does this, she is often taken through marvel bc she did not understand she had purely did it. It became defined to me it really is a type of getting to understand, reviewing and processing what she has purely heard and/or stated.

How old is your child? A few months ago my daughter was doing this (she's 6). I think it's fairly common. To me it sounded like my daughter was practicing new words and different ways to pronounce and emphasize words. If your child is doing it constantly and it is interfering with other things then you might want to have her checked out, but really I think she's fine and will outgrow it. My daughter did that for awhile but seems to have stopped now.

How old is this child? It's probably nothing serious. It could be just a game she is playing. Have you asked her about it? If it continues to be a concern for you, talk to her teacher, and to your pediatrician. Good luck.

no. i used to do that all the time. its just a habit. tell her when she does it. so she can learn to stop

when i did it it was because i was sort of re-evaluating what i said in my mind but i was thinking out loud.

im 21 now and i see me best friend do it sometimes too and he is 22.
