Seems to me that the higher you aim in any profession the better. Why not go for RN?

RN would be a better choice.
But if I had to chose between medical assisting and lpn, I'd pick lpn.

You can be half-assed about it and go with either of those - they're both sufficient in pay and opportunity- or you could go all the way and be a greatly sought after,highly paid, and admired R.N.

better yet, go for emt or paramedic, more rewarding, better pay, and not stuck in a hospital or nursing home.
