My mother always told me, never turn down a free meal..
never turn down a chance to use the restroom, especially while travelling.
Never chew with my mouth open.
Never hit a LADY, but, if she hits first, she's no longer a lady.

When you get married, you should be absolutely certain about it. You should not have any reservations, because issues will _always_ come up so if you go into it already wondering then it will be a big problem. Only if in the beginning you can do it without reservations will the relationship really have a chance.

My mother always said "And I aint whistling Dixie either!"

She always said that when she was mad at us. I didn't have a clue what that meant until I got older. My mom is from Tennessee & "Dixie" was a happy song, so when she said that, she meant, "And I am not happy either!". Who knew! lol My parents are so old fashion! lol

My mother always told me to not talk to strangers. But I did...and still do. I got stabbed once for doing it, too.

wear clean underwear in case you're in an accident. my brother then died in an accident. don't know whether he was wearing clean underwear.
