With the increasing disagreement between what states wants and the federal governement mean that states should start looking at secession? States and Local governments are tyring to enact their own illegal immigration laws, gay marriage laws (both for and against), eminent domain rules, education funding and curriculm and many others. Is the federal governemt so out of step with the states that its time to call it quits?

They can't any longer, states rights was what the civil war was all about and the states lost. The states would merely be forced to stay in and pay thier taxes like good little states by the military force and might of the Federal Governemnt who in the ends controls even the National Guard. And states can not survive because they depend on free trade between other states, to include utilities and so much more.

I'm not quite sure how all the states could secede from the US ,its an impossibility. You may attempt secession by one or two states but all of them cant be done, since the states make up the US The government does not can not stand alone ,it would cease to exist as a government.
It will never happen ,the states have individual governments that ultimately must answer to the US government.,the lone states could not exist without the other states. Our states and Federal government are all so intertwined that that would never happen. There is no way for it to happen,it is an impossibility.
Quebec tried to secede from Canada that failed also.

The only issues you brought up that are an issue between the Feds and the States is the war thing, and Cali's desire for CO2 emmissions controls. The education, gay marriage, and eminent domain are clearly in the state sector. The feds haven't really addressed these at all. And the feds have the illegal immigration laws, the states actually care alot less about that (generally) so there's not a dispute with the feds.

The Liberal and Right Wing states should separate so then both political views on each side can be reached instead of auguring.
There may have to be a redistributing of population on both sides of the borders of the Red States and Blue States.

Secession from the Union is just like imitating what happened to USSR wherein it was decimated by separation of states. USA is a good nation and dividing it will make Russia the only superpower ready to make a mincemeat of divided America in case of war.

If you watch only one conspiracy documentary ever, make it this one. This just might be the best introductory video out there. Understand that every claim made in this is fact, not opinion, no matter how wild it sounds. It's all easily verifiable through mainstream news archives and public documents.

Yeah...they should pile all the liberals into a couple of states and let them go..Canada should be happy to claim them..if they have any room..let them pile it full of illegal immigrants while we are at it..and lets not forget...let them be responsible for their own defense..see how far tree hugging and terrorist sympathizing will take them!!!
