they have transit lounge in japan. no need for you to pass thru immigration. when you buy your ticket your airline should tell you beforehand what documents you need prior to your booking. i think you have all your documents needed for you to visit the philippines. as in all countries not only the philippines, caution is a virtue for all travelers. the philippines is safe, just come and discover the beauty of our islands.

You don't need anything special for a layover in Tokyo. Just don't leave the airport. A layover doesn't mean anything.

Good luck and have fun in the Philippines!

You have just 2 1/2 hours.
I think you can only hang around the airport to transit next plane.
There are some shops to buy somethig about Japan in the aripiort.
You can enjoy and relax in the airport.

Nope. And watch your passport once you reach the Philippines. Airports are a pickpocketer's heaven; they steal passports and belongings like crazy.

Sounds like you will only transit and not enter the country you will not need anything else. You will not really leave the airport, just sit there and wait.

As long as you don't leave the airport, you should be fine.
