I call mine from time to time, maybe once a week. We talk a lot and some times message or email each other. The only difference between what we have and a real relationship is that we decided from the beginning that there wasn't going to be any attachment or emotional entanglement or exclusivity, just fun and friendship and sex.

A situation like that most guys are just looking for someone to call when he's worked up. You're pretty much someone he likes and enjoys sex with, but doesn't want to be committed because someone else could be out there. Not to sound mean or disrespectful, but it works like that. Sometimes it evolves into something more and other times it's just pleasure. Someone to fill the void until someone comes along to fulfill the desires he wants in a woman. So if you want to be the friend with benefits let him call or if you get worked up call him. It's mutual thing. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

He wants to be able to fuc* you and any other girl(s) he chooses without having to be accountable to you or any other girl(s) for anything he chooses to do, when he's not with you or any other girl(s). You say you want to "spend some time with him eventually." I wouldn't get my hopes up. Keep your expectations low. Better yet find a man with whom you can be more than just a sperm depository.

friends w/benifits is a friend you hang with, like a best friend. if you don't talk, hang out or call him other than for sex it's just a booty call.
