It's early, Richard. I'm sorry you are not feeling well. Dab your eyes with cold water, or even wet a washcloth with the coldest water you can stand and put it across your eyes for a few minutes. The whole thing is focus. The magic word is focus. You want to be focused to you can tackle your homework - you know, go into attack mode and begin one of your subjects and get it done. You're lucky that it is fairly early right now. I used to do my homework until about eleven in the evening. I do not know how long you work on yours, but if you begin right now, by ten o'clock you will have not only made a start, you will have something to show for it. Do you want to start with the hardest one first or cruise through the couple of easier ones first? Decisions, decisions. But your bottom line here is your focus, and your focus is not going to be on your allergies, it's going to be on tomorrow when you have most of your homework finished up and the allergies thing is much weaker and not so annoying as it is right now. Try very hard to put the allergies thing into the background and focus on what you want to do first about your homework. Math? English? Chemistry? French? Spanish? You name it. Economics? Algebra? Keep going until you find one that works for you and jump into it. Don't think about how you feel. Think about getting it started. If you can just start it the rest of it will all fall into place. I will be sending you good energies with this reply, and I have been writing in such a way as to clear your head and attitude so you can think only of having that homework done and looking forward to a great day at school. This message is being sent to you by Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. Please just begin and the rest will take care of itself. You can take an official break at nine-thirty, okay? Okay. (I am 63 years old, and I can remember school as though it were five minutes ago! Good luck to you, Richard, and - Get Well!!)

poor poor baby. First of all take a nice hot bath or shower. After that, have some chicken noodle soup, then some orange juice and continue drinking lots of water. Take some vitamin C, lots of it as it does not stay in your system. Take some medication specifically made for your symptoms, benedryl, Tylenol allergy med, there are many brands on the market, even the generic ones work. Good luck sweetie. I hope you feel better very soon. A nice cup of hot tea, especially herbal may help as well. I actually had a stuffy nose earlier today and a headache and I took advil sinus and felt better very quickly.

To be honest, the only thing for sinus allergy I've found to work for me is a combination of Sudafed Extra-Strength (pink box) and Cromolyn Nasal Mist. The Sudafed helps with the stuffiness and the Cromolyn helps with the running and also helps prevent nose bleeds.

Monavie juice is helpful.
The books listed below have specific chapters on allergies and natural ways to deal with them. They are the best discussions i could find on the subject.
