Well, its a little embarrassing, but I went 6 years without sex while I was married. I didn't believe in have an affair, so I was stuck until the time came that I could divorce him.
I met someone and now that has changed! I hope I don't go another 6 years this time!

I went 1 year and 4 months without it. I have had a string of bad luck the past few years...and sometimes i think i'm never going to get it again. But the important thing to understand is..that sex is not everything. I promise. Yes, it's the glue that get's some relationships going at first, but after a year or so...that feeling subsides..and you look for the friendship you both have. And i'm talking a little more in depth..sorry. But it can be tough, because everyone yearns for it, but sometimes you don't know who or what..and then you just say..to hell with it. But don't read too much in to it...

I went 7 and a half years. The reason for this was because I got a divorce and was completely heartbroken by it. It was a long time before I was willing to date anyone else and when I did, I just couldn't make myself sleep with the guy because it didn't feel right. (thank god I didn't, the guy turned out to be a total two timing sleeze)... when I finally did find the right guy, 3 days later had his *** in the sack though!
By the way, I don't think holding out on your viginity should apply in this situation.... to all of those who are claiming like 14 and 18 years without...when you haven't had it, you're not really going without... are you?

I'm 29, The longest i ever went with out sex was 3 years. For many reasons including maturity i began to see sex as irrelevant. I've come to the conclusion that i don't want to have sex unless i'm in love with you.
Don't get me wrong, i love sex. I've been call the freaky gemini. I've had many partners as well. I'm just not trying to die from sex. People lie about sex, partners and most won't tell if they ever had an STD(Condoms don't always work).
Just trying to keep my life!!!

3 and a half years, after my first wife of 14 years left. Mostly because it was hard to get out working evenings, and having no money, because of keeping the house and paying child support. It got worse for awhile because I worked a second job.

Well the first time was 19 years. I waited until I got married before I had sex. The second time was three years. That was after my marriage broke up. Now it's been one year. And that's because my 11 year relationship, with my ex boyfriend, ended.

Over a year.I had been beaten, bludgeoned, and raped, and I could not bear to be touched by any man, not even in a platonic way.I had to learn that not all men wanted to hurt me.
