this happen to me lately. all my e-mails were returned to me. found out there was a virus;and the receiving end had a virus detection security site which rejected the e-mails and sent them back to me.

check under your options list to see if you have other's blocked unless they're on your contact list. You need to make sure there's nothing "checked" saying something like , only those on my contact list/buddy list can email me. Something like that along those lines.

maybe you have everyone blocked except for your contact list (and if it's new your probably don't have many or anyone on your contact list)??
