By projecting enthusiasm, humor, professionalism, ambition, eagerness, and dressing the part that you want... remember that people, by nature, enjoy being around people who make them laugh, smile, and brighten their day.... I know a kid that graduated high school, worked at fast food while attending college part time... he is a great kid and is always happy and makes everyone around him feel good and is just full of ambition without being full of himself... he does a resume, gets an interview, gets a job at a bank.... and after 18 months is the branch manager under the agreement he continues college... he has no degree and no former banking experience except for the 18 months that he worked as a teller and a loan officer... the branch manager who hired him moved on to bigger and better things and told him that if he would never have met him he would have never hired him because his resume was useless.... get an interview and project yourself to the max.... good luck.

Start small in a new field in which you can use your skills to learn and advance...volunteer if necessary, then work your way up and build your knowledge base and contacts until you are ready to quit whatever you're doing now and go full time into your new job.

Find a company that offers the job you are looking for. Get a job in their sales group. Sales skills are usefull no matter what, and sales is a low risk hire since you are mostly commission based. Prove yourself in sales, and they should move you where you want to be if it is reasonable company.

Just keep applying to jobs. You never know when someone is going to take a chance on someone.
