some one told me about Apple but im looking for some different opinions

MacBook Pro

runs windows, mac, and unix so all in one
fast
less prone to viruses

though it is expensive

looks cooler too :P

It all depends on what you want to do. For the vast majority of people there are no diffences in the major computer companies (with the exception of apple) because they all us the exact same parts (which believe it or not is a good thing). If you can give us some more details about what you're looking for a computer to do we can proablly answer this question alot better.

My name is Bud Richmond.I am from Canada. I think the best computer to buy is either H/P Presario or a Dell. I have never had a Dell but have a friend who has one. It works great. I have a Compaq Presario, a V2000(wide Screen) and it works great also. Thanks for your time. Write me back if you wish.

I have a great Sony Vaio
the rest of my family swear by their dells

The one you can afford and that does what you want it to.. Everything you'll hear other than that is purely subjective and worth the price you just paid to get it.
