Cedar Fair has recently acquired Paramount parks, and I believe all of them will be losing the Paramount name next year. However, Cedar Fair's flagship park is and always will be Cedar Point, hands down the greatest amusement park in the world. Kings Island is fun, but doesn't provide anywhere near the thrills that CP has. Top Thrill Dragster, Millennium Force, Magnum XL200, Raptor, the list goes on.
Kings Island is a great family park, but doesn't offer many thrills. The two Beast rides are incredibly overrated, and incredibly rough, although Beast does provide a generally good time. Drop Zone is the greatest drop ride I've ever experienced.
All the Cedar Fair parks offer their fair share of thrills. Michigans Adventure has my favorite wooden roller coaster, Shivering Timbers. However, Cedar Fair will continue to make Cedar Point its top priority, and you will continue to see new rides being built year after year. For instance, they are building a new roller coaster for 2007 right now. This is why Cedar Point is the greatest park in the world.

I would say Cedar Point. But I think that Kings Island has pretty good roller coasters. The Beast is better than any wood roller coaster that Cedar Point has (by a lot). And I think the racer running backwards is probably better than the Blue Streak running forward (though the Blue Streak running forward beats the Racer running forward). But overall, Cedar Point is a better park.

Cedar Point. It's way better than any of the former Paramount parks and is better than any two Cedar Fair parks put together.
It has one of the best standup coasters. It's got both Millenium Force and Magnum XL200, two of the best out/back coasters with loads of airtime.
It's got top thrill dragster, Nuff said.
The pretzels rock. It's got a crap wood pile just like PKI, but also has Gemini, a fun racing coaster.
On top of that, it's got Raptor which beats all the other inverted coasters at other Cedar/Paramount parks.
Even their slogan rocks (Get to the point!). Do we need to go on?
Cedar Point is it!

Cedar Point. You know when 6 roller coasters on the Top 10 list are yours, you're doing something right.

Since i have never been to cedar point, I would have to say Kings Island. They have quite a few really good coasters.
P.S. For anyone who says "they're too rough". Quit your crying! Thats how wooden coaster are! They are supposed to be rough and thats how I like it.

Kings Island is OK - it ranks with Six Flags as an OK park too. Not that impressive. Roller coasters are mediocre.
CEDAR POINT IS THE BEST, ALWAYS HAS BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE!!!! You haven't experienced fun until you go there - that's why the ride lines are so long and it's worth it!!!!
