When I was younger, I was the same way. At age 14 I was 5'7" 107 lbs... Luckily,as you grow older your metabilism will slow, in the meantime here are some things to consider. Drink whole milk, have something heavy to eat before you go to sleep, since you don't burn as many calories while sleeping (I would usually have a fatty shake of chocolate ice crema and whole milk) and give it time.

Hey I'm the same as you. I used to spend every summers researching different ways to gain weight and then trying them out. I've given up though. Nothing has worked long term. I've finally realized that I was born thin and I don't care what ppl say about me anymore cuz I can eat 3 big macs and not gain a single pound so the joke's on other ppl. You kno, if you really wanna gain weight or look bigger, what worked for me for a while was running and weightlifting an hour every other day. I gained 5 pounds. Also, check the amount of calories you eat now and eat 500 more calories everyday. You'll gain a bit (like a pound a week). I know how u hate looking really thin though. Me, ppl always made fun of how sickly thin I was, but ha ha yum I can eat all I want.

First of all, how has your weight been most of your life? Have you always been underweight? If you are eating properly, and exercising in moderation, but you are not gaining weight, then your metabolism may just be fast. Look at your parents, and they may serve as guidelines. If everyone is underweight naturally, it should help lessen some anxiety.
If you would like to gain weight, do not "eat fats" or "cheesecake" as a main source of your caloric intake. You should be increasing your weight through healthy carbs (like brown rice) and mostly protein. That will allow your body to put on muscle, which will improve your health. Weight lifting can also help you add weight to the right parts of your body in a healthy way. Then you should make smaller changes with the fat. Try adding healthy fats, such as sunflower seeds or walnuts on your salad.
As always, stay away from saturated fats.
Your body mass index is below 17.5, and that is generally viewed as unhealthy, which is why 17.5 is the cutoff for anorexia nervosa. I applaud you for wanting to be healthy and respecting your body. You are right to be concerned. Low weight can place you at risk for osteoporosis and malnutrition.
I suggest making an appointment with a doctor and nutritionist. A doctor should help you rule out medical illness, such as metabolic disorders. A nutritionist will help you with a meal plan to ensure healthy weight gain that is tailored to your needs.

You need to see a doctor you could have a issue you are below your weight goal. You could have a physical problem such as a overactive thyroid. The doc can even send you to a dietitian who will show you what to eat and how many times and how much. I have a friend who HAS TO eat at least 4 meals and 2 snacks a day or she looses 5 pounds. She has a high metabolism and had very hard pregnancies because of it and I have to say we are almost in our forties and she looks like she did when she was 18 and she has two kids. Good luck and see a doctor it needs to be checked out.

Get a physical. Make sure you are healthy. Then enjoy it. Enjoy eating food without fighting the battle of the bulge.
If you are young, your metabolism will probably change as you get older. You will, in all probability, gain weight when you genetically hit that stage. Until then, I would encourage you to enjoy the positives.
Gravity is not an overwhelming foe. Small/medium shirts are almost always available on the clearance rack. Nobody gives you a dirty look for asking for the third piece of pizza or chocolate cake. There is always room for one more on the couch when you come in. It goes on and on.
I know. I was 6' tall and 120 lbs.

I consider the others, eat more beneficial proteins and such issues as that yet do not DO IT with steaks and cheeseburgers and surely not issues from McDonald's. it truly is only putting undesirable stuff on your body that you fairly do not want at this age. Lean meats can nevertheless fill you up. Eggs are particularly filling to boot. as far as weight benefit, you could continually attempt protein shakes and bars. they are particularly filling and can want to help positioned on weight. if you're particularly in touch about your low weight you should talk with a health practitioner. also from personal journey, i tried to modify what time I ate at, about 4 or 5 smallish foodstuff an afternoon. Small foodstuff are more beneficial healthful and could satiated you more beneficial effectual than 3 huge foodstuff an afternoon. i'm 22 and that i nevertheless get hungry particularly oftentimes, yet my body has adjusted so i'm not ravenous all day.

If you have already checked with a doctor and are certain you have no health problems, I suggest starting a weight training plan. Eat several small meals over the course of the day and work with a trainer to set up a good routine for you. You will "fill out" in all the right ways and your weight will go up, but not your bodyfat.

well, since your not anorexic, technically, you dont need to gain, but I''l give you some advice anyway. Eat lots of proteins (beans, fish, chicken, nuts, etc.), and start every meal with a carbohydrate base - potatoes, pasta, rice - and eat some type of bread with the meal. If its breakfast, it doesnt have to be bread, but cereal, etc. Make sure you are eating three meals a day - ESPECIALLY BREAKFAST! Believe it or not, breakfast is an improtant factor in forming your metabolism. I am also like you, though I am a male, this should still work for you.

I would definately see a doctor you could have an overactive thyroid. In the meantime buy some form of a protein shake to help you gain weight. It is usually used by weight lifters but can be effective for those who are having trouble gaining weight.

Eat lots of CARBS, not fat. It'll clog your arteries. Carbs have alot of energy, which turns to fat, if not used up. So, if you eat extra carbs, you should gain weight. I think you're lucky in some ways though, I need to lose weight big time. But yeah, I guess 95lbs is a little extreme.
