no disrespect intended, but aren't romance novels generally about hot love affairs out of wedlock or on the side with lots of erotic detail? i'm curious to hear how a christian romance novel would work without being completely dry.

I am not sure, but I am glad you are trying.
In answer to one reviewer who thought a Christian romance would be boring, well let me tell you no, they aren't! They are based on true love, not lust which is a lot more interesting. Don't believe me?Check out authors Penelope Stokes (The Blue Bottle Club is excellent),Catherine Marshall,Beverly Lewis,Janette Oke,Donna Van Liere (Ever heard of The Christmas Shoes?)Ann Dayton (Emily Ever After is great), or Irene Brand.

The same way you would a regular novel, but concentrate on selling it to Christian bookstores.
