Musso born in Garland, Texas to Samuel Musso II and Katherine Moore. He has has starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Life Is Ruff as Kyle Massey's best friend Raymond. Currently, he is one of the co-stars of the Disney Channel Original Series Hannah Montana, as Hannah's close friend, Oliver Oken.

Mitchel lives in Texas with his Mom and Dad and two brothers Mason and Marc and his dog Stitch. Mitchel has been busy for two years doing lots of commercials and a couple of films as well as print jobs. Mitchel's breakthrough came in September of 2002 when New Line Cinema needed two little boys to play Robert Duvall and Michael Caine's nephews in Secondhand Lions (2003) Mitchel was fortunate enough to not only get the part but also to play opposite his own real life brother Marc Musso. Since then Mitchel has done a Pilot for Fox called "Hidden Howie" where he plays Howie Mandel's son. He will also be seen in the 5th episode of "Oliver Beene" in February 2004. The episode is called "Soup to Nuts" and Mitchel plays "One Nad". Mitchel just finished doing an animated Piot for Nickelodeon called "AVATAR" and two commercials for Sony Playstation playing the part of "Billy".

Musso was born in Garland, Texas to Samuel Musso II and Katherine Moore.Mitchel has two brothers, an older one named Mason and a younger brother, Marc. He has has starred in the Disney Channel Original Movie Life Is Ruff as Kyle Massey's best friend Raymond Figg. He also had a role with his little brother Marc in Secondhand Lions. Currently, he is one of the co-stars of the Disney Channel Original Series Hannah Montana, as Hannah's close friend, Oliver Oken, Smokin Oken or "The Ollie Trolly". Mitchel also was the voice of Aang, from Avatar: The Last Airbender in the series' pilot episode, after which he was replaced by Zachary Taylor. Mitchel can also be seen in many commercials including a commercial for Go-gurt snacks. In 2005, he worked with Chuck Norris in the Walker, Texas Ranger reunion movie "Trial by Fire".
He now lives in California to shoot the series Hannah Montana. Mitchel is also in the first ever Disney Channel Games on the Green Team, along with Emily Osment, Miley Cyrus, Kyle Massey, Ashley Tisdale, and Lucas Grabeel.
