think brake fluid contains some amount of base( alkali), and clorox is make up of chlorine gas plus something.. so when u mixed the two ..
chlorine gas will be evolved.. it is toxic and can be distinguished by ammonia liquid. it is a green colour gas and upon reaction with ammonia it will evolve a white gas , ammonia chloride..
makes sense?
