Your cousins were only teasing you! There's absolutely NO reason for you to be nervous! Starting anything new is going to be difficult, and you're going to be nervous, but you know what? So is everyone else! All of your friends will be just as scared about junior high!
Just work hard, join some fun clubs, activities, and sports, make time for friends and family, and pick classes that you think will interest you. Don't get stressed out about grades or schoolwork because colleges/jobs don't even look at grades until high school. Instead of thinking about the things that scare you, focus on all of the really cool things... like how much more freedom you'll have at your new school!
As far as makeup and hair go, my only advice is this: as natural as possible. There's nothing weirder than someone wearing sky blue eyeliner, POUNDS of mascara, bloodred lipstick, and tons of blush plus all kinds of clips and pins in their hair... it's too much and they'll look like some deranged mannequin.
Relax! You'll be great! Good luck!

I won't be the only one to say this, but I'll say it anyway: be yourself.
Also, I'd see about joining some clubs of interest to you, and of course trying hard in school. Other than that, just try to hang around people who are decent and good to you. In the long run it's the best way. All that popularity stuff that seems so important in the school years---well, it hardly counts for much after that! You'd be surprised....
As for getting shoved into a locker--well, there ain't a person alive who wasn't teased like that or picked on at one time or another. Keep your chin up and you'll survive just fine.
Junior High can be a tough time, but it can be a lot of fun, too. It's a mixed bag.

I remember junior high school, and let me assure you, you won't be stuffed in a locker. My advice to you would be to keep your friends close, and have people you can talk to. There are going to be fights and moments where you want to cry, but you learn so much about yourself, as long as your true to who you are. And believe me, its all worth it in the end.
As for hair, wear your hair in a way that not going to make you run to the bathroom and fix it every second, because that gets really old, and very annoying.
Study hard, make new friends, and try out anything you think sounds interesting.
Good luck and have fun!!

Junior high isn't as scary as you may think. It's only a small portion of your life and a very fun one too. So enjoy it and don't be nervous at all. As far as hair styles and make-up, you should check out some magazines and stuff for tips or ideas. Seventeen magazine usually has cute hair styles and has helpful make-up tips so you don't end up looking like you're wearing clown make-up. Good luck and enjoy this new experience!

Like everyone has been sayine, just be yourself. No one likes fake people and the more genunine you are, the more people will like you.
For hair, tons of girls just throw theirs up into a ponytail and messy bun, and a lot of people just wear it straightend and down.
For makeup, DON'T put too much on. Believe me, when I say this, too much makeup is SO UGLY. If you want to wear some, just stay to lip gloss and mascara. Easy and not over the top.
Also, if you pay attention in class, the less studying you have to do for tests and quizzes when they come around. Paying attention is key, and a lot of people don't.

there wrong, don't worry you'll be fine. i'm in high school now so u can trust my advice.
the best advice that ANYONE can give you is to BE YOURSELF.
you will definetly meet people that don't like or envy you in some way but if you be yourself and do what makes you happy you'll do great. just don't look for trouble and try to act hard .
(when you get used to middle school it is going to be fun)
especially 8th grade.lol(that was the best)lol

Don't be nervous. It's nothing to worry about! Your cousins are just trying to shake you up.
You don't need any make-up though. I never wore make-up in 8th grade (last year). Here's a good website w/ hair instructions and ideas: http://www.seventeen.com/beauty/hairguide

Okay Ill start with eye shadow first.
Green eyes- Purple will make your green brighter and really let them show!
Brown eyes- To make brown eyes brighter use blues to let them show!
Blue eyes- Use browns and dark browns to pop these out!
For all eye colors Natural looks great on all of them! Browns, earth toned colors work wonders!
Mascara
If you are a red head or blonde- Brown and black brown looks best.
If you are a brunett or have very dark colored hair- Black is the best color!
