The only way to get better at drawing is to practice, practice, and practice.

Get a sketchbook and practice drawing stuff you see around the house. Once you get pretty good at drawing from sight, you can practice drawing images you see in your mind! Get books from the library that talk about different techniques, take art/drawing classes at school, rent videos about drawing, and find websites.

But the number one thing to remember is to keep practicing!

I cannot draw to safe my life, I'm a teaching assistant at a local school, i seem to be constantly stuck in the art class. I have started tracing round pictures in books to get the shapes then add my own features. practice as much as you can and you will get better.
