It really depends on what you mean by being hurt. Do you mean physically? Sexually? Emotionally? If it is one of the first two then I would say tell a teacher or call the police. If it is emotional, there are so many different levels that it is hard to narrow it down to just one answer. It ranges from talking to the person, to telling a teacher, to calling the police. Without more facts I really can not narrow it down for you. Sorry.

You are in a very, very difficult situation. On the one hand you need protection. And on the other hand the people who are supposed to protect you are hurting you. Please talk with a counselor at school, a minister, or priest or other trusted adult about the situation. Here is a number you can call if you like: 1-800-4-ACHILD. Good luck. And more than luck, you need courage to act for self protection. Message me if I can help.

You could tell another family member that you trust, you tell a teacher at your school. I'm glad you at least have the courage to say something,
best of luck to you, I hope it all turns out well.

If you mean physically then you need to call 911 as soon as it happens. You never have to take that kind of abuse. Nobody does. If you mean that you just got your feelings hurt then you need to talk to the person and tell them how you feel.

Honey, I'm so sorry that you are being hurt. Please speak with either your other parent or another family member who will be able to help you. If you this is not a viable option for you, please speak with a Minister/Priest/Rabbi/Reverend, etc. There are plenty of places to turn (hotlines) etc.
If you would like to e-mail me, please click on my screen name (Goblin g). This will take you to another screen and you can send me a private e-mail.
I'll keep you in my prayers.
