First day of school this week, the only thing their mother has to do it buy school books, paper, pencils?

I get the cloths and make sure they show up on time. She never gets their school supplies by the first day, its always after the first week or even the second week...How can I stress to her the importance of buying a few pencils and some paper? Is it wrong when I tell her she is a bad mother?

I already bought cloths and shoes and I pay their lunch, all she has to do is buy 20 dollars worth of supplies and she doesnt just wait until the teacher sends home a list, she never gets the stuff, she waits until I give in and go out and buy the stuff, SHE IS A BAD MOTHER

will it really matter?
would she really listen?

I am going to be mean here for just a second....Why can't you get their school supplies. Is there a divorce here, and she is required to do this? Maybe she didn't have the money right then..I am trying to figure how some reason she waits...I keep a supply of school stuff, paper and pencils on hand. I know a lot of people who waits too. I can't understand it either, but I can't see why you just can't pick the stuff up yourself. Me and my kids always going to buy school supplies a event. We went to lunch and made a day of fun. I don't think it's fair to call her a bad mother, not responsible, that I can see. I can't imagine sending one of my kids to school without something. Does she wait till the school sends home a list of supplies that is required? Sorry still trying to make sense of this....Please don't call her a bad mother, that's not right. Ask her why she waits, tell it bothers you that the kids go to school unprepared. She what she says, and if you doesn't see your point head to Walmart! God bless us all.........

I don't think that makes her a bad mother. She should know to at least send the kids to school with paper and pencils. Common sense would tell anyone that. As far as school supplies she should get them the first week unless the list has already been issued by the teacher then there is really no excuse

Most parents wait until the teacher send home with student the list of school supplies they will need...most school packs are not what the teachers are looking for...so I don't think she is a bad mother.....When my kids were in school i waited until the teacher gave their list....because I always return the school packs that I had bought earlier

HAHA she isnt a bad mom because she doesn't buy pencils and paper. The teacher has extra anyways. Relax. If she has trouble getting around to buying them stuff can you buy them and just have her buy you back?

hey my ex wife doesnt do squat for my children. she started paying child support this yr after being absent for yrs.she sued me and claimed being to poor to pay child support and then turned around in the same case and tried to get me to pay for transportation for a visit.hey we all draw a line somewhere and that was mine. god pencils and paper!and btw she won, the judge overturned the child support ruling.where was that system when i earned $135 a week and had my children and was still paying child support,you lucky bastard :)

shes just a little slow...
maybe you could buy them.
or just remind her.
if shes your wife, then im sure she wont care if you stress how important it is, but if shes an ex, then thats a different story. just tell her what you think.
