I saw this movie in 8th grade so that is mid 80's. I just remember a boy in a classroom watching the rain, and everyone is down and waiting for the day that the sun comes out. It only comes out once a year, and the whole thing takes place on another planet~

All Summer In A Day.

The sun comes out for 4 hours or so every 7 years.

I already stay the position the solar continuously shines and the rain in no way falls. this is stated as a 10-year-lengthy drought. i'm taking into consideration retiring to the Pacific Northwest, the position it rains more effective than it would not.

I had been thinking of asking this question. I remember that the planet was Venus and that the girl was from Earth and remembered sunshine while all of the others in the class didn't.

I remember this movie too. It was a short story, written by Ray Bradbury and titled ALL SUMMER IN A DAY.
