Republicans favor the wealthy and the corporations. Democrats favor the working class. End of story. I am a working class person, not at all wealthy. I do play some golf with many Republicans and even then I always pay. Just like working class tax payers will pay the $2 trillion cost of war in Iraq. The working class will also pay the $9 trillion National debt ran up under Republicans. They never pay for their own mistakes, never.

As a moderate-to-liberal, in Georgia, I'm definitely a Democrat. For national elections (President, mostly), also Democrat. If I were to move north, though, elections would be based a lot more on the individual candidate.

I am an aginner.

I am against the Democrats because of their policies sound more like socialism. I do not like their concepts on economy.

I am against the republican party, because the can't keep their nose out of someones bedroom and private affairs.

I am against politicians in general, because they are a parasite on the taxpayers.

Each time I go to the polls, it is not to vote for someone, but to vote for the lesser of two evils.

In the presidential election between Al Gore and George Bush, 50% of the population did not vote. Not voting = abstain. Give me a candidate worth voting for and I will go to the polls to vote.
50% of the people that did vote went for Al Gore and 50% went for George Bush. The truth that has not been expounded on by the news media is that 75% of the voting population "Did not vote for Gore" and 75% of the voting population "Did not vote for Bush" This was a mandate to change the status quo and an embarrassment to both parties. A true American patriot is for what is best for America and not down party lines. That definition leaves out most politicians as being American patriots. They have lost their focus. Which is why they should have term limits and why their retirement fund should be social security like everyone else.
