OKay... im 16, 5'6'' or 5'5'' and i weight 115 -120, it varies... you ARE DEFIANTLY NOT FAT... if you want to loose fat, then gain muscle, it doesn't matter what you weight, but what does matter is you body mass index... (how much fat you have on your body) To gain self confidence, gain weight, and still look GREAT! work out those muscles!! That way, you don't look like a stick, and no one is telling you that your skinny, and you shouldn't feel fat what so ever! The thing is, being too skinny, could signify to a person that you are malnourished, which is unattractive, AND if you get sick, your body is less likly to take it as well. The solution is to gain muscle, so your loosing fat, and gaining weight. Muscles, help you body out in general...

It sounds kinda like you're looking for attention. Especially when you're only 109 lbs, 17 years old and 5 foot, something. It has a lot to do with body type. Are you athletic? Lazy? Average? Too many things come into effect. No one can tell you without actually seeing you - if you're underweight/overweight/healthy. See your doctor.

first of all, u're perfectly fine 4 ur age. Don't listen 2 other ppl abt ur weight, there probably jealous (or something) since every1 is obsesses w/ being thin. If u're content w/ urself, u should really worry abt anything. And sometimes, gaining weight (more like not havin control over it) might cause health problems

Obsessing over weight is not a good way to get higher self-esteem if you have low self-esteem. If your friends say you look fat, they may not be true friends. Take a moment to reflect on things you are good at and let the fact that you are good at those things be your hot-air balloon to a better mood! Relax and have fun. And have a wonderful evening!

you definitely aren't fat - probably a little too skinny for your own good - if you keep thinking you're too fat you may be a little on the anorexic side and may need to speak with your doctor or a nutritionist, talk to a parent or a trusted adult about how you've been feeling

you are not fat. you should gain a few pounds but at least you are not overweight. your weight does not look good on your 5/6 height . a few pounds will not make you fat nor skinny , you will look more proportioned with extra pounds.

You are actually underweight. If your height is 5'6" and your weight is 109 lbs, your BMI (body mass index) is 17.6. If you are under 18.5, you are underweight. For your height, your normal weight range should be anywhere from 115 lbs to 153 lbs.
