First time is not very nice but it gets easier and easier each time you have it done. You'll hear loads of stories about having to get on all 4's ect but thats not true....i work in the industry and train therapists to do Brazillians also, you will be asked to remove your underwear but the therapist has seen it all before so no need to be shy, plus if she is good she will put you at ease.
Take a painkiller before hand if you want and may make it easier, also have it done just after your period as before you will be extra sensitive. Do not shave between appointments as it disturbs the hair growth and will make your next time as painful as your first. Hope this helps, get it done....you'll be pleased you did. And where i said she as therapist is only because majority are women, some men do brazillians but not typically and if u think it may be a male therapist you can specifically ask for female!

I don't know why there is such hoo-haa about getting a Brazilian Bikini Wax. DO IT. Trust me. I used to go regularly (ie: every 6 weeks) until I needed to start spending my $65 (not including tip) per 1 1/2 months elsewhere.

I think the best thing to do is go to a reputable salon because you'll find more skilled techinicians there. You might pay a little extra, but its worth it.

The first part you have to get comfortable with is checking your modesty at the door. Basically, you go in and the technician tells you to take your bottoms off and get up on the table (you can leave everything else on, even your socks if you want). It seems a little strange the first time you go, but these people are professionals and will probably try to engage you in conversation that doesn't revolve around what they're doing.

My girl always started with the most painful part first, which was the strip on the top of your pubis. I don't know why that hurts the most, but it does. Its fast, it stings, but then its over and you move on.

The first time you get a Brazilian you will probably bleed a little. The pain is completely tolerable (I think). I was actually surprised at how tolerable it was, because I was worried about the pain factor when I went for the first time. Your technician will probably recommend a soothing lotion or gel to apply after you take a shower. This prevents in grown hairs and redness.

The whole process never took more than 30 minutes, if that.

I think its great and totally worth the money. The waxing gets those hard to reach places that are troublesome when shaving (unless you're a contortionist) and the hair grows back soft and flat ... no more stubble, razor burn, and prickly bristles! Its great!

If you get it done once, you'll be hooked. Come on, every 6 weeks!? How can you beat that!? I think its worth 30 minutes of minor discomfort.

The first time will be very painful, especially if your hair is thick from shaving. Soreness and redness could last for 2-4 days afterward. After the first time it will be a lot less painful and the soreness will only last a few hours to a day. For your first time, I'd suggest getting a partial brazilian, where your lips aren't waxed.

Waxing is not as painful as people think if it is done correctly. If you get your eyebrows waxed by a professional, then I would suggest asking them to do a test area, so you can see if you can cope with it. Never try to do it yourself, as it is important to ensure the skin is stretched, this eases the pain and eliminated bruising.

It hurts. I'm not going to lie - you may actually bleed a bit. I would start with a bikini first to get yourself prepared for the full deed. But if you want to be hardcore (which I'll give you props on) then go for it! I recommend you going 2 weeks before your period - otherwise as you get closer to your date it will hurt worse - it is just like that - you're more sensitive to anything! I used to get those done before I ended up getting lasered so I never have to deal with it again.

I get the runway myself. The first time i got it it did bring tears to my eyes but after that i was fine. I must say it's great on holiday and stuff and when u wear nice underwear not to have all hairs poking out!!! Go ahead you'll love it. Try the runway to begin with. At least the you'll know what to expect...

Alot of people compare the pain factor on the same level as childbirth.
Obviously it's not the same KIND of pain, but you get the picture.

ITS PAINFUL.

I think it is worth the pain. It hurts, I won't lie, but it lasts longer, looks better and is less itchy after.
