Yes. You may hate your spouse. However, your son needs to have a relationship with his father. And, if you move without telling, you may break the law and lose custody.

If you're doing it out of hatred yes you're wrong. To move a child away from it's other parent just because you hate him is wrong as well I can understand if the father was abusive, mentally and physically. If he didn't want anything to do with his son and such than I can understand the moving and restarting a new life.
If you do move and don't want him to know where you live than you need to have someone in between, someone that he can contact that'll contact you in turn so he could do visits and so on with his son. That's if he's involved in your son's life.

if you are divorced, then your main priority should be your son. of course, your son has to be able to still hear from you and his father. just because you hate his father doesnt mean that your son has to pay for it. keep your cards on the table and just tell him the truth. its never good to omit stuff. stay strong on what you believe is right and make sure your son comes first. this also works if you are not divorced. good luck and God bless you : )

How old is your son? How involved is his father in his life? Are you receiving child support - if so, through the court? It's okay to hate your ex, but it isn't okay to make your son hate his father.

that depends on the situation.. if he is abusive and will look you up, then no it is not wrong. But if you just want to up and leave for no reason then yes, that is wrong. He is the boys father, and the child deserves to know his dad. it is not right for a child to grow up and not know BOTH of their parents...

Suppose in the future he turns up at your door and your with a new partner.. what then?

Yes, you may not like him but he has a right to see his son. Also if he sues you for custody and you don't show up you will lose by default and then may be arrested for kidnapping!

Yeah, but then again I don't know the whole situation. But from what you tell us it sounds wrong but there might be more to the situation.

If you are leaving on bad terms or he is not treating you well, by all means, leave. You can always call or email him when you feel the time is right.
