Deaf, because you can learn sign language.

Deaf, because you could see the world in millions of colors, and you can also have sign language for deaf people, but you can never see the beautiful sights around you ever again. That's why I would rather be a deaf person than a blind person.

I would rather be deaf. I think it would be harder being blind, at least when you're deaf you can still read lips or do sign language. If I was blind I'd be scared to go anywhere alone. You can do a lot more when you're deaf as apposed to blind. Plus people say a lot of crap that I don't wanna hear. LOL

im half deaf & half blind from a gun shot to the face my deaf ear rings constantly both suck but if had to choose would choose deaf as i really dont listen any way

Well in this case since I can't pick niether then I'd pry have to say deaf.Deaf people can still see the beautiful features in life with their eyes,they can lip read,they can sign.Either way blind or deaf is very hard to live your life with.But I'd have to go with deaf.

I would choose deaf. I would rather be able to see where I am going and where I've been then hear all the bull crap that gets said around me. Besides you'd still be able write what you want to say so that others can understand instead of having to learn Braille

If I had to choose which one---it would be to go blind.
That would make me appreciate life a lot more. If some one chose to be deaf, they could become very good at reading lips.
I can't imagine what it would be like to be blind. But that is my choice.

Deaf becuz I could still hear the people around me. I don't think that I really need to see. I it would suck if I was Deaf though.

I'd be deaf, I'd be able to live a more independent life that way than if I were blind.

Deaf. I can't imagine losing my vision. I can go on and on about the loss of vision. Being deaf, you still have many opportunities. Hearing aids today are so advanced. Text messaging and emailing is so poplular today. I would much rather not be able to hear my wife than to not be able to see her and my son.
