Without a doubt, anybody who thinks anthing different just doesn't want to acknowledge him. You can't name any player that has ever played the game that has revolutionized the game like Jordan has. Until someone stacks up points, assists, MVPs, championships, and endorsements like he did, there is no other. That's why all the current All Stars are compared to him, because he is the level that they all want to reach. He is without a doubt, the greatest to ever touch a basketball.
P.S. Wilt Chamberlain played in the NBA when there was no one as tall as him. That's why he was so dominant. Jordan played against players that were faster, stronger, and better than the ones that Wilt the Stilt played against. And Bill Russell, um no, not even worth wasting typing time.

It is my opinion that Michael Jordan is the best basketball player to ever play the game. Magic Johnson is a very close second however. Michael Jordan not only was the league's best offensive player but he also was the league's fiercest defender. He was twice the leagues defensive player of the year at shooting guard.

THE BEST EVER !!!!!!!
This is for Red Snake. Kobe is good, but until he achieves the things Jordan has, he will never be better than Jordan.

Hands down........NO !!
He was probably one of the 5 greatest GUARDS of all time, but there's no way he was better than Wilt, Bird, Magic, Russell, or Kareem, just to name a few.
He WAS, however, the most over-hyped and marketed b-ball player ever.

it depends on point of view- kareem abdul jabbar is the all-time points leader, and is undoubtedly one of the most dominant players of all time. jordan had excellent stats, but in my opinion not quite matching jabbar- or possibly even chamberlain. i believe that jordan is the or one of the greatest clutch players- if you needed points late, he was your guy.
