I could nearly become a Republican myself, if Hagel would succeed in getting rid of these NEOCONS in the White House.

I must say that seeing Chuck Hagel disapproving of the qugmire in Iraq was refreshing, he's a patriot who realizes how the Iraqi war is the biggest cluster fock since Viet-Nam, kudos to him. Let's see how NEOCONS spin this one.

By the nature of their profession and how they need to survive amongst their fellows, 'truth' and 'politician' are mutually exclusive. Politicians lie, it is as simple as that. Maybe they don't do it all the time, but they regularly disseminate information, omit certain truths, as well as outright lie. They are politicians. And until a better system of rule can come about, probably through technology, rather than the evolution of our collective social wisdom, which will take much longer, this is what we must deal with.

Don't you ever trust any political turd heads. They'll say what you need to hear. But after you voted for them in office, they'll do exactly the opposite. don't ever trust them. treat your vote as life and death. If you don't think anyone is worth your vote, don't vote for anyone it. That's my take.
