I think it would be nice to be born in post-Depression 1938 on a farm in Nebraska. Good, clean living, and then you would perfectly hit your teens in 1950s with Elvis. Then you would be in your 20s in the 1960s, one of the most prosperous periods of our nation, move out to Southern Californa. In your 30s and in the 1970s you could enjoy your last taste of AIDS free sex, and purchase real estate at a reasonable price. Then you wouldn't be too old for technology, and die before things suck.

I wish I could live during a time in history when the pollution was not an issue and the air was pure.
When everything is new and alive... and war did not yet exist.
I wish I could live when the world, as a whole, was at peace and everyone got along.
The time period would have to be before Eve ate the apple and the location is not important.

I would have liked to live during the period when the Egyptian pyramids were being built, or if there really is such a thing as Atlantis, I would have liked to have viewed their culture. I also think the 1700's in America would have been an interesting time to live in because of the adversity and exploration.

I would live in Georgia during the time of the Plantation Era. I would live in a Huge Mansion on a plantation and wear those beautiful dresses that the Southern Belles used to wear. And have Elegant dinner parties and Lavish my friends with gifts.

For me it would have to be during the 40's/50's/60's in America. There was still innocence(?), and truth in the majority of people. There was true patriotism and baseball was played for the love of the game, not money. People were just, well... real.
(My wife asks me this at least once a year.)

The Victorian era in London. Things seem like they were better then (atleast if you were upper middle class) and my mom has said since I could talk that I belonged during that time so I guess I'd choose that.

1800s Japan. Many exciting things going on at that time. And then maybe 1890's America because of all the new inventions coming out.
