Neither one. Car dealers are so overpriced, it's ridiculous.... and one of the biggest reasons for that is because they have that middle-man -- or middle-woman -- who is making a profit from doing nothing but trying to convince somebody to buy something that they CAME there to buy. It's insane. I prefer to buy second hand cars from private owners who have taken care of them.

When I buy a car, the deal will have enough profit built in to pay the salesperson a commission. The size of that commission will be directly related to how well the salesperson treats me. If the salesperson is extremely knowledgable, is intuitive about the details, and doesn't treat me like an idiot, I'll give in early to allow a larger commission.
If the salesperson is a jerk, is chirpy and a moron, is too busy with their cell phone to pay attention to me, or smells bad or smokes, I will own the car with the dealership taking a loss and the salesperson getting a mini deal.
It doesn't matter if it's a male or female. It matters how I feel at the end of the deal.

I would rather it be a female because males are more pushy, and think women dont know how to buy cars.

For me it depends MUCH more on the car, and my mind is already made up before I go in. That said, it would be fun to talk to a cute girl, or a knowledgeable guy.
