Well, if in high school and a boy enjoys talking to u or ur company, if he notices slight changes in ur mood or style , like ur hair cut ,
dress code, if he enjoys making u laugh and looks out for u,
if he does not speak of u in any dirogitary way to his boys in the locker room then he likes u. Also if at first he is very shy and smiles a lot with u.

high school has nothing to do with knowing if a guy likes a girl but when you are looked at often and he smiles at you a lot. gives you sweet or sexy looks . makes sure he is close by you when he can , you can tell . look at him , see how he smiles at you and anything else that hints he is interested in you,

What works for me is to go to the movies with a group of friends and if he decides to sit beside her or near her then he might like her....he might also talk to her a lot more than he used to and he might act diferently i his friends aren't there. It also depends on what grade and/or how mature they are....all boys can be diferent.
If she likes him then i would say ask him out. the worst thing that can happen id he says no...i highly doubt that he will!

If he goes out of his way to be around you, if he smiles when you are near, if he compliments you, then he most likely likes you. He might be the shy type too, though. So start a conversation with him. If he asks for your number, then he's interested.

well it really depends on the guy. if hes kinda into fart jokes and small stuff like that then he will tell his friend to ask one of ur frends to ask u if u like him or something like that. if hes ...idont know,more mature, then he might smile at you and be nice, or he will just come out and ask u on a date or something nice like that

if he flirts with her, makes an effort to be where you are (somehow showing up places you are in groups) if he makes alot of physical contact. and if he flirts. also they will usually tell theire best friend...so interrogate the friend ;-)
