can someone who knows alot about spells answer a question for me? Is it wrong to want a spell that would bring good prosperity and success to my life(financially)? Isn't this greed? Would this backfire on me? Please educate me on what I can get myself into. Am I asking for trouble?

I have done many many many spells in my time...and still do!! If you know what you are doing and you are focused on your goal then you will have no problem.

I am not wiccan anymore but they believe "Do as you will but don't harm anyone". So as long you don't hurt anyone with your magic you can use it for anything you want. Nowhere is it written that you can not use magic to help yourself.

I have done money spells to pay for bills and I have gotten money to do exactly what I needed. You will only get what you need though..remember that. My question would be have you done spells before? Do you know how to cast spells?

If you don't have knowledge on witchcraft then I suggest reading a book called "Wicca for the solitary practitioner" by Scott Cunningham. It not only explains magic and spells but it also explains about the wiccan religion. This should help you cast out all those doubts you have so you can focus on the intent of the magic.

Have fun and gather as much knowledge as possible...never stop learning!!!

It's ok to ask for financial success, though success in other areas is usually more important, but always use the words,"And it Harm None" in your spells. This way you avoid getting money through death, injury, etc. Read "The Monkeys' Paw" to see how wishing for money, without any saftey factor, can backfire.

To ask for your highest and greatest good to come to you with the intention of increasing your overall abundance and prosperity is not a bad thing, if you believe it will backfire on you - it will backfire on you. Generally most white or good spells/intentions do not work solely on financial abundance - but on overall abundance for you in all aspects of your life - which most times means spiritual and not monetary.

If you know your spirit guides or angels and how to talk to them - ask for guidance on what type of job or action you could do that would increase your prosperity and bring you better success, abundance and life security.

Note that doing magick 4 wealth is not wrong or irreverent, always assuming that u use the wealth in positive ways.Just don't ask 4 more than u need & donater 2 worthy causes. It should all work out but 4 me I'am just waiting 4 my trun wealth.

No, it's not. I may not know a lot (barely any, but im getting there), but spells are to help yourself and others. Just know what you are getting into.

It will backfire somehow. Like, if you ask for money, your mom can die and leave you money. If you ask for a mail to get to someone fast, it will, but the wrong piece. Just consentrate.

Best Wishes! :D

Wiccans will agree its greed andfor material possession. I won't.

Its quick, easy, but i'm not one who can financially keep money, it comes and goes and I do my part for the economy by keeping theflow going. On that note, I only do it when I desparately need it, usually on a gamble of some kind.

it is not a bad thing to want success in your life. Yes,it can back fire but only if YOU do something wrong. If you have the right person teach you it will work out just fine. As for instance -- i am a Coven leader. I have a regular "in person" coven and an online coven.

If I were you I'd leave magic alone since you seem to approach it like most of us would a rattlesnake or something equally as dangerous. Not to mention with your negative attitude you probably couldn't magic yourself out of a puff of smoke.

Things that tend to back fire are curses *not* money spells.

Is this a good luck charm sort of thing? Do you have to conjure a person or thing? Careful careful. When you wake that which is sleeping you open a Pandora's Box. Remember, you can't get something for nothing.

yeah, spells shouldn't be used for material gain. Do some research on witchcraft, spellcraft and the like. There is always a cost when you ask for something, and you have to be ready to pay the cost for your gains.
