I was in this same situation once. I chose to try to talk to the guy because, well...I kinda liked him secretly. I ended up betraying my best friend and we never spoke after that. Don't do what I did. Be a woman in this matter and stick with your best girl. She'll be there alot longer than he will. Trust me on this one.

That kind of thing happens when u r good friends with both the boyfriend and girlfriend, give it time and see if things calm down and go with the flow. They r not ur real friends if they cant accept ur friends with someone they dont like.

You will NEVER be friends with everyone, so forget that.
I think that after things have cooled off from the break-up, you'll find that the guys will still be friendly with you, but right now, feelings are too raw. Be patient.

Did u do anything to provoke the breakup? If not then let them be for now, then ur true friends will realize tht they need u and just because this happened to them doesn't mean they should keep u out of their life. If they do then screw them.

You just have to tell everyone involved how you feel. If they don't want to be friends with you afterward, then I guess you know what kind of people they are ....and you probably wouldn't want to be friends with them anyway.
I don't know why you feel like you need to be friends with your best friend's ex though....if she is your best friend, you should realize that will probably hurt her. Nothing wrong with being polite to the guy, but you don't need to be his friend.
If you feel like you NEED to be his friend, then it sounds like you have a problem.

His group broke up with your group and you have to re-establish that trust. It might be hard but eventually worth it after a little while.

This is normal. Wait a couple of months. If you still need to get together with these people, It should be fine then.

i dont think they are mad at you, but to prevent any conflict they want to disconnect themselves from everything and anything to do with her so just go along with it and hopefully they dont need you one of these days because then you wont be there for them

unfortunately, you can't control the way others behave. if they choose not to continue a friendship with you, then there isn't much you can do about it. give things time to cool off and settle down a little.
