On the radio (& no doubt TV), over the last couple of days, the Isralie spokespeople alleged that Hizbollah were secreting weapons in during this fragile ceasefire. Therefore, Israel says they had the right go into the Lebanon fighting in spite of the present agreed Cease Fire. Using the same premis, does this mean that America should be be attacked, English Government also - because they are probably still secretly flying ammunition into Israel. The media don't seem to be commenting on this aspect.

I like this question. It just might make a few people think. I believe that Lebanese should be allowed aircraft which can bomb and strafe Israel , and this might stop Israel bombing and strafing innocent women and children and killing over a 1000 of them.
After all , I am a pacifist , so I have a problem with myself over this. But I do not like the way Israelis call everyone else terrorists, while they can kill whoever they want.

Hezbollah are not a government they are a terrorist organisation operating within the borders of a democratic country (with the help of Syria and Iran) with the sole aim of bringing chaos to the region. They fired 3000 rockets into Israel and would naturally want to rearm themselves Israel has a duty to it's citizens to ensure this does not happen. As regards the supply of arms from America (through Britain) to Israel there is no UN arms embargo in place and under international law no wrong is being committed. I'm sure if it was the UN would have commentated on it by now.

Israelites - that's a nice name.
Muslim terrorists do not understand the nature of a cease-fire. They think that it is just an opportunity to re-arm. Israel's problem is that they forget this. Of course there was a UN resolution, but is there ever a UN resolution which says that Hezbollah, Ahmed Jibril, Temple Mount Faithful, PLO, have to stop murdering Israelis (and some Arabs while they're at it) ? Why does Israel stay in the stupid UN, just to be betrayed and insulted?

What do you think? I think Hezbollah are importing more weapons the UN have given them a chance to restock and they will hide again amongst the poor lebanese civillians because they are cowards who have no respect for their own Muslim people.
Shame on them they are so consumed with hate of Israel that they have lost the ability to think about their own children

that's because there is a difference between doing legal arms deals between countries and countries smuggling arms to terrorist groups. anyway, there probably shouldn't be such missions during a ceasefire, not contesting that. just wondering why you think it's news that us and israel have arms deals.
