Since my cycles start as early as day 23 to the normal day 28 it is hard to predict ovulation. Dr. put me on clomid days 6 to 10. I think i ovulated either day 16/17 since on day 18 my temp went up to 98.6. Started spotting on day 24 (temp went down), day 25 temp went back up and has remained. The spotting stopped. It's day 28...no period. And all 4 of the hpt say negative. What's going on??

Ovulation usually happens 5-10 days after the last tablet so day 16 or 17 would have been just right. SOMETIMES women who are pregnant get a temp dip and implantation spotting 6-12 days after ovulation, again, day 24 would have been just about right for this. On day 28 you are 11 days past ovulation and a preg. test probably won't be accurate yet--especially if it isn't a very sensitive test. A good website to check out for sensitivites of hpts is www.peeonastick.com If you are not pregnant your period should be starting within 3-5 days. Wait 3 or 4 more days, get a sensitive test, and if no period, test with first morning urine. Best of luck to you and hope I answered your question.
