what is your ammonia level. it could be a bacteria bloom if you are cycling your tank. or you could be over feeding.

Cloudy watercan be an indicaterof many thinks!! How long has you aquarium been set up, have you recently added any pH adjusters? An aquarium that is only a week or so old coould be just cycling, be sure not to overfeed during thid time. As benificial bacteria, nitrosnoma, and nitrobactor colonize they can have massive blooms and cause water to look cloudy, this is all part of the natural process of cycling a tank.

Did you just set up this tank? Do you have a lot of fish in it already? Do you feed more than once a day? Is the tank in front of a window? Do you leave the lights on more than 10 hours a day? Do you do regular (weekly) partial (25-30%) water changes?

All these are possibilities. If you just set up the tank, it is a natural part of the nitrogen cycle that all new tanks go through and it will go away.... unless you have more than a couple fish in a new tank, that will cause an ammonia spike which will cloud the water (do a partial water change right away and check your ammonia, nitrate and nitrite levels. They should all be at 0.

Also, go to About.com and follow their links to setting up a new tank.

Your Aquarium is probably cloudy because it hasn't been cleaned in a while. You should clean your tank around once a month and go to a pet-store near you to buy some liquid to clear up your fish tank.

You might want to clean the fish aquarium water and maybe the cloudy will go away. Do you know how to clean it?

ur filter could b working at a slower pace then needed so if it has different sucktion levels turn it up. if not u may want 2 consider buying a new filteration system. now if ur aquarium does not have any filteration system then u may just need 2 clean ur tank more or get a filter. u can always just ask a employee the next time u visit the pet store when buying more food. :)

you water is probably cloudy cause you have over fed your fish and the leftover food clouds the tank try feeding it less and see how much it eats in two minutes and then remove the rest so over time you will learn how much to feed them also it could be your not cleaning you tank enough the tank should be cleaned once every week or two unless it get dirty faster than that then you may have tho clean it twice a week but you should have to clean it once every two weeks

your ph is off. need to get a kit and test it, there are tablets you can add that will help clear it up. also if you just changed the water it will cause it to be cloudy but it is still related to the ph.

the water either needs changed, or your filter is broken. or u mite not even have a filter at all. if u do... check it every so often to be sure its working. if its working fine, manually change the water, and try to get a better filter. if u dont have one, then get one, also manually changing the water
