I am just curious to know what your childs first word(s) were and how old they were when they said it? How long before they were really talking?

My son just turned one. He says "MaMa" "DaDa" and "YumYum"

My first born said "Don't hit me man!" to the doctor right as she was born. The second said, "Anything good to eat around here!"

Seriously, I only remember my second child's first words, which were "dada". I had been threatening for five months that if she did not say daddy by six months I would throw her out. She said "dada" at five months and about 29 days.

(We all got concerned.)

First real words, Can't help you. My children are most offended by you now because they felt that mama, dada, bye-bye, my were all real words. So what do you call those? Sheeeeeeesh never mind. You probably don't even have children. How rude!

Okay, i'm going to take my medicine now. You're just mean! Next you'll be telling us that drinking breast milk is not a "REAL" meal.
