Specifically, what do you think of the word "Batman" being absent from the title, Heath Ledger as the Joker, and the possible appearance of a Russian arms dealer Penguin?

If it's as good as the original I'll be ecstatic. I know I'm biased on Heath Ledger, so I'll just say I have faith in the guy's acting. (Love "10 things I hate about you") The Penguin as a Russian? That'll be different, I can't wait to see "The Dark Knight." (it's a title Batman has in comics and such, it's a good title, better than "Batman: Forever")

I have faith in Heath Ledger as the Joker. He's a good actor, and I think he can do it. I'm interested to see it. As for the title, I think it's geared more for the comic fans than the rest of us, and though it's good it'll probably be changed before the movie is released.

I find it hard to imagine Heath Ledger as the joker. It's possible for any actor to be a villain. But the joker takes a certain kind of guileness. I think Jack Nicholson was the best joker.

Well, the sheep from Humpback Mountain shouldn't lower the film quality. Plus, The Dark Knight is another name for Batman (Kind of like a nickname) so that's ok. As for the penguin, we'll just have to wait and see. Personally, I don't think it sounds like a bad thing but I could be wrong.

i think it's the best title of all the movies but I am not sold on heath ledger as the joker , i don't think he could scare his way out of a wet paper bag with scissors in his hand

Batman is the dark knight. The movie was more true to the comic book than the others. Gotham was dark and scary.

I like the idea, although I'm sure "Batman" will eventually be included. The "too simple" titles like "Batman Forever", "Batman Begins", "Superman Returns", always seemed like they were lowering things for the lamest possible ticket buyers.
