My house! If you want really good crab legs you've got to spend the big bucks and places like Joe's crab shack and Red lobster do not buy really good crab. They are the bottom portions of the king crab. I buy the whole leg. And the buffets are usually snow crab - eating that is just too much work.

Joe's Crab Shack. Not only great food, fantastic atmosphere and awesome wait staff, but they have wonderful ideas for birthdays. My Brother in law had to run around the restaurant with wings on and caw like a crow while everyone sang Happy Birthday. Another relative had to ride a stick pony toy around saying NAY NAY. A lot of fun and even a decent kids menu.

I just ate lunch at the China Town cafe in the FairLane mall in Dearborn. They had crab legs on the buffet and usually I would say that they suck on a buffet but these were really good. I probably ate about 3lbs and its $19 per person after tax.

sad, but true that Red Lobster is still a good place for legs. so long as you go when they aren't too busy, and they give you picked over ones.

if money is no object, go get the King Crab meal at Fishbones $65. there is one in Southfield, and Greektown.
