its the same as a curl route....you go up the field then you curl back....play madden and you will learn more

Don't listen to the other guys, they are talking about a comeback, which is like a hook. A dig is when the receiver runs straight up the field. And at about 12-15 yards, they cut right across the middle. That's the route that receivers get smashed on, that and the post route.
